Conventional sandwich panels are one of the cheapest and easiest solutions for forming the thermal building envelope of industrial buildings. They are pre-fabricated façade elements, of which millions of square meters have been produced and mounted every year.

The façade protects the facility against weather and moisture, which can damage the façade system and construction structure. Our choice significantly influences both the final appearance and the energy efficiency of the building.

On Thursday, 22 November 2018, we met at the Thermana Lasko Congress Center at the 3rd meeting of the ABS Network project, entitled "Networking for Raising Innovation".

For the time being, we still enjoy autumn colors and joys, but inevitably we are approaching the winter, which  was cold, but in much of Slovenia. Forecasts indicate that while La Nina and Low Sun activity appear, it's likely that winter 2018/2019 will be colder with some snow.

The new Construction Act, which began to apply on 1 June 2018, was replaced by the previous Building Construction Act and brought a number of novelties and simplifications in the field of construction.

On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, the first business meeting took place at the Alte Technik in Graz as part of the ABS Network project in Austria.

The forming simulation of the panels is carried out in order to be able to predict the geometry of the channel as accurately as possible. This geometry forms the basis for all subsequent heat and flow calculations.
