ENERGY SAVINGS - WHAT I CAN DO ALONE

ENERGY SAVINGS - WHAT I CAN DO ALONE

Saving energy is one of the key issues for the energy future and it starts in our minds. Considerable energy costs are directly related to energy consumption. What is important, however, is that we help reduce air pollution, reduce waste and reduce fossil fuel consumption. It is a conscious decision that everyone makes the best possible contribution and influences the future of the planet.Fact: Every degree of indoor temperature means energy consumption. Already two insignificant degrees increase the costs by 12%. Simple math that is worth considering.

Tips for saving

1: For well-being we need enough oxygen in the room. With proper ventilation, we save up to 20% energy. We recommend that you open all the windows for a few minutes and do not use long-lasting vents. The lower the air temperature, the shorter the radiation duration.Also make sure that you do not form an air cushion by covering the heating elements. Curtains should only go up to the heating and they will save up to 10% energy.

Fact: The cheapest is the energy we do not consume.

• Turn off the lights when you do not need them.

• Use energy-saving lamps.

• Only use the washing machine and the dishwasher if the full and stand-by tariff is lower when concluding the contract.

• Turn off electronic devices (player, TV, radio, computer) completely and do not leave them in standby mode as they still consume 1/3 of the energy.

• Turn off the charger of your mobile phone when not in use.

• Use dryers only when necessary.

• Only heat as much water as you need (teas, coffee, boiled eggs ...);

• Cover the pot while cooking.
