FASADES IN VARIOUS FORMS & DIMENSIONS

FASADES IN VARIOUS FORMS & DIMENSIONS

In general, it is possible to use any thickness variation of a panel and implement it within facade. All the panel versions are ideal for facades on new buildings, and also for (thermal) renovation of existing buildings.

- The first option is a (self-supporting) structure that extends from ground to ceiling. It is also available without an additional substructure, and thus represents the most economical way of forming a heat envelope.

- Another option would be to use the panel as a shell for fixation, without losing its energy-extraction function. The panels are located at a certain distance from the supporting structure or the thermal insulation. On the one hand, this helps ventilate the building, and on the other it helps remove water vapor from inside the building. Most of the metal facade linings that are currently on the market are not thermally activated.

- The third option for the panel installation is its implementation in the conventional facade systems of various suppliers. The panel simply replaces transparent glass elements which are usually used and it acts as an opaque component, so it is necessary to shade the interior and to obtain solar energy.
